Dominican sports dentistry

It is the branch of dentistry focused on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of oral and maxillofacial injuries and diseases related to the practice of a sport and/or recreational activity. This specialty integrates clinical knowledge and advanced technology to protect patients’ oral health, optimize their physical performance, and reduce the risk of dental trauma. It promotes the use of custom-made 3D mouthguards, continuous monitoring of oral health, and its connection to overall well-being and general health.

These services are not exclusive to high-performance athletes but are available to anyone who engages in sports and/or physical activity. They are aimed at individuals who participate in contact sports and outdoor activities and are aware of the importance of maintaining good health.
